Danpyunsun & The Moments Ensemble is a collective led by Korean musician and producer Danpyunsun.
Based on Danpyunsun’s repertoire—developed over many years as an irregular presence in the Korean folk and rock scene—the ensemble aims to autonomously amplify a wide range of emotions and contexts embedded in the music, including sublimity, wretchedness,pleasure, stillness, grotesqueness, and a sense of balance. Drawing from jazz, folk music, art rock, and contemporary music, they freely intermingle these elements and move together toward distant musical horizons.
With the release of their debut album Hail to the Music in 2024, the group received unprecedented critical acclaim, winning Album of the Year and Best Modern Rock Album at the 22nd Korean Music Awards in 2025. They were subsequently invited to major Korean music festivals such as Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, Busan International Rock Festival, and DMZ Peace Train Music Festival, establishing themselves as a symbolic presence in contemporary Korean rock.
As of 2026, the ensemble consists of Boram Lee (piano), Song Hyun Woo (bass), Park Jae Jun (drums), and Rose Park (guitar).
